Health Equity

At STRAP, our mission is to bridge healthcare gaps for underserved communities in South Texas. We provide essential reproductive health services and ensure access to life-saving medications (RiVive, Narcan), always prioritizing dignity and respect.

Access

Support

We aim to offer equitable access to emergency contraception and naloxone, meeting the needs of individuals who cannot afford these critical resources. Together, we advocate for a just healthcare system. Given the political climate distribution methods and practices are confidential. STRAP does help RGVHR stock the no cost vending machine at the Flying Walrus in McAllen. 

Justice

Empowerment

STRAP is dedicated to advancing reproductive justice, fostering community care, and supporting the health needs of marginalized populations. We believe in the power of choice, advocacy, and the right to health.

Since our inception, STRAP has provided over 5,000 individuals with emergency contraception and naloxone, significantly improving community health outcomes.
